The conformity assessment procedures present in the New Legislative Framework are, as follows:
- A - Internal production control
- A1 - Internal production control, including supervised product checks
- A2 - Internal production control, along with overseen product checks at random intervals
- B+C - EC-type inspection (B) followed by conformity to EC-type based on internal production control (C)
- B+C1- Similar to B+C, but it also includes supervised product testing (C1)
- B+C2 – Similar to the assessment procedure B+C but with the difference that it also includes supervised product checks at random intervals (C2)
- B+D - EC-type examination (B) and a conformity procedure based on quality assurance of the production process (D)
- B+E - EC-type examination (B) followed by product quality assurance (E)
- B+F – It includes EC-type examination (B) and product verification (F)
- E1 - Quality assurance of final product assessment and testing: Similarly to the procedures D and D1, E1 doesn’t require conformity procedure B to be performed first. The manufacturer has to create the product design’s technical documentation so that the examination of the product design can be carried out in the framework of E1.
- D1 - Quality assurance of the production process: In this case conformity procedure B doesn’t precede conformity procedure D1, because the manufacturer has to draw up the technical file of the product design and the inspection of the product design is carried out only in the framework of D1.
- F1 - Conformity procedure based on product verification: In the same way as the assessment procedures D/D1 and E/E1, the technical documentation of the product design needs to be drawn up by the manufacturer. Afterwards, it’s examination is carried out in the framework of conformity procedure F1.
- G - Conformity assessment based on unit verification
- H - Conformity procedure based on a full quality assurance
- H1 - Conformity procedure based on full quality assurance, including design examination.
